Funny, my dh always tells everyone he doesn't have a dog and these are ONLY my babies, BUT he is ALWAYS giving them treats and they worship the ground he walks on!
Wow, you've been very lucky, and some dogs do seem to be able to get away with more, but if you've ever seen a dog with pancreatitis, you will know this is an extremely painful condition, and you would do anything to prevent it. The trouble with many spicy/fatty human foods is that they can cause an acute attack of pancreatitis, which can lead to chronic pancreatitis, and then even though you are careful with what they eat, they can still get an attack. It's hard to change hubbies though.
