You are so lucky to have a brave protectress like Grace Ruth. I'm sure you feel much safer knowing she's keeping her eye on those worms. 
I don't think it's ever gonna stop raining. I haven't seen many worms around my yard lately. I think they were all scared off weeks ago when all this rain started.
