I just wanted to welcome you to YT and wish you luck in your search. I agreed a bigger Yorkie is best for families with small children. Some breeders won't even consider letting a Yorkie go to a family with kids. My Gucci is almost 5 lbs, and she seems so small. I have 2 kids, 4 yr old daugther and 12 yr old son, and they are pretty good with her. My son sometimes wishes she was a big bigger. I do watch my daugther playing with Gucci, cause accidents can happen.
