Hello, I am the mother of a male Yorkie who just turned 11 months. I took hiim to the vet on Saturday and he is super healthy, but he weighed in at 12.5 lbs. He is not overweight, he's just large. I call him my Baby Huey of Yorkies.

I used to have a girl who weighed 3.2 lbs. She passed away last December. She was very small and very fragile. We were always at the Vet and she died before she turned 7 years old. So, I'm glad that Skooter is the picture of good health, I just didn't know Yorkies could get to be that large.
Is this normal?
