 My baby sassy is sick and can't figure out what wrong
Ok, first off,I'm a newbie to this site. Second I have a 9yr old named sassy that is vomiting and has pus and blood diaherrea as her stools. We have been through this now for a week. She has been to the vet and stayed over night. They seem to think it is an infection in her bowels I on the other hand know her and that is not what is wrong.She won't eat, sleeps most of the day, wants to be held( which is the only thing normal she's doing), her eyes are dull looking,we did find out she is anemic, she hides under anything she can fit, and she's lost weight(she was7.4lbs on thursday and is now almost 6lbs).I can't take seeing her like this,( I'm crying just wring this message), I am at my wits end and need help,advice, something.I also have a 4yr old boxer that is soooo sad when he watches her( he is very protective of her) he actually crys when she not around ( a 95lb crybaby). I rescued a 11yr old yorkie9 yrs ago, but had to put him to sleep 3yrs ago cause he was blind and deaf(couldnt find anymore vets willing to help him),that was hard for me to do but he is in a better place and is well again.Sassy is on clavamox, it is not helping and our vet wants us to finish the medicine before testing or doing anything else. My concern is that the med isn't working after 4 days what is gonna make it work in 2 more days? Anyway I hope someone here can point me in the right direction. Thank you |
