You may want to consider trying a Raw diet (IE - Natures Variety Raw)
Remy refused every kibble I tried, and we home cooked for quite some time. However it is time consuming, and you really need to work at it to get the nutritional values correct. My schedule lately has not allowed me to do so. Anyhow, we've converted to Raw. He loves it. The food disappears in less than a minute and he is always excited to eat. Our homecooking is not reduced only to treats.
