Awww, I have to agree with the above poster. Putting Coby in after the fact doesn't tell him that he's done a no-no. You may have to start from scratch and let him out and treat when he does go potty and back into the crate once he does.
I know it is hard to do (we only did it for about 2 weeks). Other than that, maybe try and expen and when he is out, watch for the signs and grab him and put him on the pad before he goes. Also, use 1 phrase so he knows what he is supposed to do. You should wait and say the phrase as he is going so he associates it. Treat him each time as well. He catch on quickly and believe it or not, he will milk it for what it is worth. lol. He'll probably learn to pee a litte, treat and go back and do a little more, lol. They are smart and devious little boogers.
