I dont think you should have coddled him and not reacted its just that the way you said that everyone was hyped up and stuff he probably was to and we dont always understand what makes dogs do certain things and not that what he did was ok but I think grabbing the little ones up and turning my back to the big dogs as quickly as possible would have been better then hitting. Its just dogs dont understand why they are being hit and it just seems wrong to me to hit a dog. My moms dog growled and showed her teeth and snapped in my Callies face but I never hit her I picked her up and removed her from the situation. I'm not trying to say your bad and evil or anything like that I just really hate the thought of hitting dogs. And I hope Nicky is ok.
