i had a experience very similar but sorta funny
to walk to the local library where Gatsby and i go for story time we take a back ally that is between two streets so it is backyards on both sides and a dog in every yard i swear so we go past a yard that has dogs that scare me to death and i always pick Gatsby up to walk past the dogs wear boxer mixes this day as we walk past the bigger dog puts his two front paws on the fence and just jumps right over i was terrified the dog jumps up on me and i started screaming gatsby wiggled and wiggled and i couldent keep a hold of him and he ended up on the ground he looked at the dog much bigger than his five little pounds and growled the dog layed down rolled over and showed his belly!! i couldent control myself i started to laugh the owners come out and got him and told me his name was boston(bo) and he spent the first five years of his life bullied by thear late toy poodle i was so relived and now when i walk to the library i sneak bo treats and have become good friends with his owners but when i hear stories like this i think what if bo had been mean or aggressive i most likely would have lost gatsby
