The steps are really a great idea. Walmart, Walgreens and Petsmart usually have some under $20 that are great to use with sofas & chairs. I've recently switched from stairs to ramps because my oldest has such bad arthritis and other problems that the stairs just got to be too much for him.
Ya'know, the reason I haven't gotten stairs (and I have looked at them), is because they didn't look like they would be that easy to navigate for my little Apple...I'm glad you mentioned the ramps, because I think I'm just going to start out w/that...I will have to leave the pillows behind the couch, because it's in the middle of the room....However, she doesn't jump off the back of the couch, it's just in case she were to fall...I know you are probably thinking "move the couch against the wall, but this really isn't an option in my living room...Thanks for the tips on the ramps....
