Would giving her cosequin and glucosamine supplements be OK? Or should she only get those supplements if she does have luxating patella? Are there any side effects to these supplements? | Someone on the site, today, was telling me that in most cases, luxating patella is hereditary...I've read that it can be caused through injury too..I have pillows all around the couch and chair, so Apple has a soft landing, when jumping off furniture...I'm not a doctor, so I can't say whether you should give your puppy supplements, but I'm going to start giving my Apple glucosamine and chondroitan, as a preventative...I use flexicose, and it's for animals too, so I just need to contact the company regarding the dosage...I am very careful about apple jumping down off high places, etc....very careful! |
