I would definitley give him a little canned food and see how he tolerates it and the nutrical. Also keep him warm. None of mine shook after spaying but my pom laid under the bed and cried for 2 days. I stayed home from work with her. I believe my vet gives them a pain shot that last the first 24 hours and then sends home some pain pills. I hope he feels better soon.
