I've always enjoyed the grooming side of things with these fur babies but never got to grips with the nails, especially after a bad experience when Tia was about 4 months old.I cut the quick probably like some of us do on our first time and it scared me so much I have been filing them down since. Anyway they grow so fast that filing isn't enough. I asked the vet about nail clipping and they want to charge £15 about 22 dollars!
So I've got brave again and this time brought some kwik stop just in case.
Tia had her bath , ears cleaned , eyes cleaned, teeth cleaned and then nails clipped.
Guess what
she sat beautifully as she always does and not a drop of blood in sight!
Now I've got my confidence back ,I decided to cancel the mobile groomer because I want to do EVERYTHING myself .I gave her a trim today as well , I think I did ok.What do you guys think?
