I take the babies to the vet, they are looked over first to make sure all is well. They then use a shot to help numb them. When finished the tiny hole in the paw is covered with a fine blue webbing and the base of the tail is the same. They do cry, but only for a moment and then all is well. I get more whimpers from the first bath or first face trim.
