I totally understand she was only trying to help. I think all breeders should be checked out, as well as prospective parents. I do however, wonder how many know that Missouri is trying to shut down the mills. We have 11 inspectors compared to 2 inspectors in the States South of us. We have a number to call to report mills, which I've done. Anyone with more than 3 intact females will get State inspected yearly, and I know of several breeders from Texas and surrounding States that have
never been State inspected.
I've heard about so many mills shut down from VA, FL, and PA yet you never hear about those States being called the "Puppy Mill of the World" as she called it. This is a terrible problem all over these United States, and I certainly wouldn't be leary of JUST Missouri when looking for my next baby!
