My dad's surgery is complete. He had the 4x6 tumor removed and the doctors believe that they have gotten it all. He went home on Wednesday and needs to take it easy. He'll have numerous doctoro appointments over the next few months to make sure that all of the cancer has gone. The hemotologist will be working with him to help control his hemochromotosis (too much iron in the blood). He also cannot drink alcohol - bummer for him!
