After he did this the other night, his attitude changed after he got a taste of blood. He wanted more and I kept him away until I could find out what it was back there and get rid of it. This happened last summer too when he killed a rabbit. He ate the hind legs and butt before I could physically get him away. He's like has a wild rage after he gets a taste of blood. Have you all ever seen this happen with your dog~? Are all Yorkies like this~? Someone told me today that he is psycho and I should of traded him for a larger dog (someone was walking a Husky today and it was a extra large puppy and she told me she would trade with me. He was difficult to walk). Anyways, he still is barking loudly.
He is a Yorkshire Terrier and was originally bred to hunt RATS. If he is "hunting" it is part of his natural instinct BUT you also need to be able to control him. Pebbles and Doodlebug have BOTH chased animals in the yard in the past but they are by no mean blood thirsty psycho killers. All of mine have been trained to come on command. They might not like it when they are after that squirrel or rabbit but they do. It sounds to me like you have SEVERAL issues with behavior that are going on with him. The aggression and humping have to do with his testosterone and NEUTERING him will help. Has he been neutered? Unfortunately, you have been given much advice in the past and pretty much not listened to any of it and it sounds to me like not only has it continued but it is escalating
