Jackson's always been really picky. I wanted him to eat simply dry dog food, nothing mixed in, that was never the case. We went through Wellness, Dog Whisperer, Innova, Merrick's Before Grain, etc. He would always sniff around.... not care about it, until I mixed in wet food. Then he would generally eat it all. But even then, sometimes he would pick around the dry or spit it out and only eat the wet.
However... 3 weeks ago, we started on Nature's Variety Instinct (Turkey & Duck) and he LOVES it. He chows down!! For the first time in his life, I don't have to mix wet food in w/ his food. What I'm going to do so he hopefully doesn't get tired of it, is rotate between the turkey & duck flavor and the rabbit flavor. |
