| Picky Eater Apparently, my Yorkie is going thru another phase in his life that he won't eat his Royal Canine. I am tired of switching foods since he has been thru 8+ foods. Someone told me to try the canned no salt french green beans. By golly, he ate his food tonight. I also was told to try cottage cheese, and he ate this morning. Otherwise, I have tried some wet food from "Three Dog Bakery". It works one day and not the next. That could happen with the cottage cheese and green beans too. Do you hall have "picky eaters"~? Have you all been thru numerous of foods like I have~? Do you think dogs get tired of the same food everyday~? Then what causes them to be picky~? They say, "changing foods", but what can you do when they have been thru 1/3-1/2 bag and they won't eat the food you have~? I just think they get tired of the same food day in and day out. |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I have only had Brewsterfor a little over a week and he wouldnt eat dog food. I tried like 4 different kinds including prescription diet. So, I followed suggestion on here & I am boiling whole chickens and white rice. He is finally eating, he loves it. I was also going to try the green beans but I havent yet. Good luck! |

| Jackson's always been really picky. I wanted him to eat simply dry dog food, nothing mixed in, that was never the case. We went through Wellness, Dog Whisperer, Innova, Merrick's Before Grain, etc. He would always sniff around.... not care about it, until I mixed in wet food. Then he would generally eat it all. But even then, sometimes he would pick around the dry or spit it out and only eat the wet. However... 3 weeks ago, we started on Nature's Variety Instinct (Turkey & Duck) and he LOVES it. He chows down!! For the first time in his life, I don't have to mix wet food in w/ his food. What I'm going to do so he hopefully doesn't get tired of it, is rotate between the turkey & duck flavor and the rabbit flavor.

YT 500 Club Member | Sophie is a very picky eater, and some foods have not agreed with her as well. She is even worse when it comes to treats. She is down right rude when people try to give her a dog biscut. She nudges it out of their hand! She does eat Royal Canin, and that has been pretty much her favorite. She really liked the Yorkshire Terrier mix, but it just got so expensive that we went to the mini 27 adult which seems to be similar, and she likes it. She loves green beans (the cut kind) and chicken as well. Yes, I think it is Yorkie trait to be picky, but don't we just love to spoil them?
