The Vet told me a while back that it is okay now and then to give some chicken if it is broiled like KFC. But another Vet at the place told me if I do then he won't eat his own food. I do see that when I have given him some of my fish, it takes close to a week or longer for him to get back on his own food. Why not mix a bit of chicken in with his dog food~? That is what I did with the green beans and he licked the plate almost clean. I don't think I would cook for him, tho he would love it. There are folks whom I am told who do, but not me.
