wanted to add. the person spending a dollar a day. i make my own raw recipe diet and it's really really a lot cheaper than that. it's easy, it stores in the freezer in little cups, and you set the cups out the day you are running out of some and it thaws out overnight and ready to go again. a double batch lasts about two months even for a small puppy who eats three times a day.

i switched Sadie off kibble and onto raw on day 1 when i got her and she never had an issue with it at all and wouldn't touch the kibble the breeder left for her so i had to feed something and she loved the raw. |
