Hello - Congrates on the new teeny tot! i think the nutrical is a double blessing but my vet and many others warned me about the sugar fix need i might be creating so unless she seemed very lethargic or wasn't eatign at all, i was conservative. At the beginning 2 weeks, i gave her a little teeny amount before bedtime. As she got a few weeks older i had good success w/sprinkling stinky cheese (parmesan in very small amounts on her kibble) or same samllll amounts of yogurt and for the beginning sat with her to get her started on her food. As much as it breaks my heart to see my baby cry I did not want a dog who would freak every time i left the room so i practiced walking away for stretches and just tuffed it out. Now she is happy, balanced at 7 mos and affectionate but not needy and doesn't always have to be in the immediate vicinity that i am. I remember the first time she went up the stairs by herself to get in her bed. It was like watching your kid go to first day of school. Ultimately I don't want that separation anxiety that i see so many other babies have.
