 Am Worried - Need Advice
I took my baby Zoey to the vet today for her 13 week shots (not sure why it is at 13 vs 12, but it is). I discussed with him that she had been scooting a bit on her rear and was worried about the anal glands a friend had mentioned to me. When I wiped her bottom with a puppy towel this morning, it seemed like maybe something hard could be there. He did the anal glands but not in front of me; and said they were pretty full. She seemed fine after, slept on the way home and I left her upstairs in her xpen with her open crate (first time) while I ran to the grocery store. I am home now and when I went to pick her up she let out a bit of a cry when I was holding her rear up to bring her downstairs and so I gently put her in her epen on the main level, went in with her and she was licking my face but when I went to pet her, she did not want me any where near her rear and she went into her bed. This is so not Zoey!
Is this cause for concern, do I need to look back there for something, is this normal for a first time????? I am worried and just need some advice.
