You could call and ask another vet what they would prescribe.

Everything that I have read about giardia, and I have read a lot about it, says that it is very hard to detect because it only shows up in the stool at one stage of development.

Normal treatment for giardia is treat with panacur for 5 days, then wait 10 days and treat for another 3 days.

If he is using Flaygl it could be different.

There is another thread going about coccidia and if vets just diagnose parasites to get the money.
