A LOT of dogs don't like their feet touched and/or their nails cut. i'm a groomer and had a little yorkie today with this problem. the little ones are even harder to do when they don't cooperate because they are so small and wiggly. the one i had didn't try to bite/growl but she was all over the place.

Whenever your furbaby is on your lap or on the couch with you you need to touch and play with his feet. massage the toes, hand the nails, and spread the pads out so he gets used to all parts of his foot being touched.
