You can add a little Parmesan cheese on top of the food to also get him to eat too. Another thing that you might want to try is adding a little water to him food so that as he eats he will get hydrated that way as well. Did he recently have vaccines? You did also say that he is teething maybe that is what is causing him to not want to eat.
