We are on the Gulf here....and the parrotlets are from Mexico...on the Gulf side! That is why I guess they are here.
The first time I saw them after I moved here, I was at a Burger King. I got SO excited and got out of the car trying to call them....saying "pretty bird" over and over. I must have looked like a total doofus!
Had moved here from NJ where we did not have pretty birds like that. So..I came home and did some research and found out what they were.
