This is such a bitter-sweet thread.
I'm so sad for your family, but, I think you know you've made the best decision in an unthinkable situation. I only hope that I can be as brave as you if I'm ever in a similar spot. As another poster said......no one is allergic to pictures, so I hope you get to see little Karlee grow up to be the special little princess that she is. I will be thinking of you and your family tonight when Karlee goes to her new family. God bless you!
