I wouldn't wait for a call back but would take them in immediately. With pups that are that small with vomiting and diarhea it is a grave emergency requiring a vet. You can't get fluids in them faster than they are losing them. The cause of the diarhea doesn't matter at the moment. Your first concern must be the dehydration, it will kill a small pup very quickly.
