I was at the vet a few weeks ago, and I was holding Addie the whole time. I'm just not very comfortable putting her down on the waiting room floor, and there were a lot of bigger dogs there.

Well, after my visit with the vet, I'm at the front trying to pay. I'm still holding Addie, and this lady who had been waiting in the room with me before says, "Can't she walk?" in a sarcastic tone. She didn't have this ridiculously rude tone, but it still pissed me off. I just turned to face her and nicely said, "Of course she can. I just prefer to keep her safe."
She at least had the sense to appear a bit embarrassed when I replied.

I was kind of shocked that anyone would say something like that to me. Why do some people think they always have the right to add commentary? If you want to do that, star in a movie and then you and the director can not shut up together.

I guess some people just think they are recording commentary to the DVD that is their life. I don't know how many people are going to watch that though.
