I dont think I have ever gotten that. Callies about 15 pounds and I still worry that she will get stepped on so I either carry her, put her in the cart, or her stroller but she likes being carried and being up high where she can see everything but she will cry to be picked up sometimes. She sorta like rides on my hip like a human baby and I like it so I think I would just ignore those people.
