Ok, there are a few things that I am doing that I am not sure is right or not...Any advice would be greatly appreciated... When Tucker has a really hard playtime where he does alot of running and chasing us, I usually put him in his crate when we come back in so that he can get some rest, otherwise, he wants to keep playing all day..I am a stay at home mother so I am here with him all day. He sleeps in his crate at night and is on a schedule so he goes to bed at 9-9:30. I put him in his crate only when we are eating because he begs real bad and after a long hard playtime and at night. Am I leaving him in his crate to much? Also, he rarely ever wants to cuddle.. If I sit down on the floor and call him to me he just stares at me. I have to pretend like I have something in my hand to get him to come to me.. If I just pick him up then sometimes he will lay his head on my chest for a few minutes..That is rare.. Does he not like me? Will he ever be a lap dog or want to be loved on? Also, he will not eat unless I am standing where he can see me? Is this normal? Do I need to cuddle him even if he doesn't want me to? And last, he tries to eat everything...bugs, cat poop, toys, feet, leaves, clothing,EVERYTHING!!! What do I do?? I do not want him to get sick!
