I haven't heard any comments like that lately but one Sunday morning I passed 2 men sitting waiting for their lift and one commented it was the first time he'd seen anyone walk little dogs 'like those'. He thought people only had them to carry around in bags and such. Funny thing is there arn't many small dogs around here and those that do go out are generally walked, including one 12 year-old little girl whos owner takes out every day. She gets picked up when other dogs approach because she's nervouse of them. He explained to me they'd had to take her at 5 weeks old as she was the runt, only half the size of her littermates & they wouldnt let her eat. They had very different ideas 12years ago. |
