she came from a breeder in Selmer, Tn. She had coccidia, round worms, yeast infections in ears, internal bleeding, low iron levels, fleas and hypoglycemia. spent a week living with my vet, he took her home with him and kept her for a week and nursed her round the clock with antibiotics, she weighed 15 oz and lost all her hair. I spent the next month giving her meds and syringe feeding her every 3 hours. She and I lived on the couch together for that first month. shes great now, weighs 2.14lbs and has finally grown hair. I'm still so paranoid that I still give her puppy nutracal 3 times a day, keep pedilyte stashed away and the vets # in my purse.
Breeders excuse( I had my sister call her as I was to upset thinking my baby was going to die at any moment) was I didnt know how to take care of her ( I already have a 9 yr old yorkie raised from 12 wks), stressed her on the way home or by giving her a bath, my vet was in it for the money etc. I could go on and on. She has told the other buyers the same thing when they have called about their sick puppies. At one point she was so sick the vet thought we might have to put her down. Her contract says she 's not liable for coccidia only defects and she wont pay any vet bills. You can tell by talking to her, she's got game, she knows what she's doing, I have a letter from my vet stating that my baby was sick when I purchased her. I dont care about getting my money back anymore or vet bills, I just want her to be stopped.
