 Venison and rice
My dog vomited often much of his early years, then it became lots of foamy blood and passed LOTS of blood when he was two. We had to treat him with pepcid, and feed him rice and ground venison. I used the venison burger that we ground ourselves, then put the cooked rice and ground venison in the blender to make it even smoother. He had a spoonful of plain yogurt a couple times a day. It took a year, but his system finally became normal. His stomach is still sensitive now that he is 7, but he eats normal dry kibble (salmon and rice). He still does not tolerate regular kibble with wheat, although he has a small regular treat now and then. |
