 Is Taste of the Wild ok for puppies?
I have a 5 yr old bichon that has had the worst allergies and tried everything we went grain free a little less than 1 1/2 years ago. At the time Cooper (my yorkie) was around 9 mos old and also was switched to the grain free and it has worked WONDERS for us allergy wise. I can not say enough about the difference it made with us. We have used Natures variety, natures balance and Taste of the Wild which is there all time favorite....they LOVE the Bison flavor the best.......my question is we are getting a new yorkie and I am wondering even though Taste of Wild says all stage formula do you think I am ok to feed a new baby that since it is not a "puppy formula".....I really hate to have to try another food just for her if not necessary, since I am sure it will be a fight to keep the others away from it....but also dont want to do any harm if I need a puppy food for the first 6 months.
By the way my VET is no help, she still recommends Science Diet and thinks the grain free is mostly hype. |
