Thanks for all of the dialogue. I like the idea that someone had about putting clean squares on top of dirty spots. But i wonder if they pull at those pieces. How many pads do you have around the house? ow many in your pen? I decided last night that maybe she knows wher and how to use the pad but I am not convinced that she doesn't know not to go on the floor. Last night I decided to go back to the old traditional crate training. I put her in the crate last night. She woke me every hour and half to go potty. I let her out and she went. Today i decided to do the same and to come home mid-day (figuring that there would be an accident to clean up. I decided that if I crate train, versus leaving her in a pen with a pad, I could teach her WHERE to go. (I will go back to the pen when I am SURE that she knows to only use that). Anyway, I put her in at 7 am and returned at 12:45pm to a clean crate. I was shocked. I guess she yiped last night because she knew I would let her out. I think tonight I will not put her in the bedroom but leave her where her crate (pen) was during the daytime. Wish me luck. Any suggestions pass them on please- Kath
