It's the first question out of my mouth when a potential new family contacts. If their answer is no, conversation is ended
You don't like people coming to your house, however, most potential new buyers come to my house. It's a two way street and for the good of the puppy...Then I do have a relationship with all my families, I go to their homes and them come to mine.....on a social basis. |
I agree 100%, I hope to buy a female to show from a breeder in Canada next month. I am flying to Quebec on Oct 13th to meet her and I'm staying in Quebec for three days. I am also going to her HOUSE to spend the day in order to see her dogs and for the breeder to meet me. This will give us both a chance to meet and get to know each other. She also wants to teach me some things about growing coats and showing. After all, I am getting a dog with her name on it so I'm sure she wants to know how dedicated I am to the process. I also told her during our initial conversations that she was welcome to come to my home anytime she wanted to see my babies and their home. Neither of us have anything to to hide....so why would we care. It just makes since...........
