I agree. It's best to wait 3-4 weeks in between shots. You want the last set of vaccinations to be given between 16-18 weeks for full immunity. Up until then, the antibodies your puppy got from nursing block the effectiveness of the vaccines. If started too young or given too close together, an additional set of vaccinations will be necessary.
In one study of a cross section of different puppies the age at which they were able to respond to a vaccine and develop protection covered a wide period of time. At six weeks of age, 25% of the puppies could be immunized. At 9 weeks of age, 40% of the puppies were able to respond to the vaccine.
