Well I did it....I have put down a deposit for a new baby girl.....took me forever to let my heart out way my head..lol. Cooper is our 2 yr old boy that we love to death, but I have been wanting a girl for about 1 year now and finally took the plunge. Coopers mommy had her last litter of babies and had 2 girls. There is quite a difference in size between her 2 babies....one is much more longer and skinnier/leaner looking and the other girl has shorter legs but is much chunkier looking more compact looking while the other looks so tiny. My question when there is a good difference in size between 2 littermates like this, does the runt always stay the smallest? Or do they catch up with each other so to speak so there is no real way to tell if the runt will defiantly be smaller throughout life?
Or the breeder has said alot of times the chunkier 1 just eats all the time and pushes the little one out of the way but once the are weaned many times they then either catch up with each other in size or at least become much closer? Is the runt always going to stay the smallest or no real way to tell?
