In the beginning as many of you may remember, I tried really hard to train Deb to go outside. She would go in her crate and never mind that she was lieing in pee or poo. We could be outside for hours and she would not go. Once we came back in..she would immediatly go in her kennel
I finally tried the pads in her x-pen. They are on the opposite end of the pen from her bed and she is doing great! Maya came to live with us last week and she is doing great with the pads too!!! They have a few accidents still...but they are only 4.5 and 3.5 months old!! When training them we just put them on their leases...and keep them on the pad until they go. Just like taking them out..only not
Both my babies hate bad weather...so I am just as happy with the pads
We are still working on getting them to realize that they need to go back to the pads when they are not in the pen...but even that has begun to click!!!
