YorkieTalk is a completely free service for all members and we hope it will continue to always be a free resource for all Yorkie owners. YorkieTalk does accept donations, and with donations, members do get a few additional benefits.
Google handles some of the ads that we have on here. The ads are served based on what the thread is about. We do not control which ads may show up here. Without ads, YorkieTalk could not survive in its current state, as there are significant costs with running a site with a community this large, from software to server costs to database administration. We have been able to keep all pictures posted, keep all threads and posts that have ever been posted, and allow albums for members. It is simply not possible to run this community without ads.
We suggest all members do their homework and research when purchasing a Yorkie for their family. We provide plenty of tips and do give advice on how to find the right Yorkie. They are stickied in the Yorkies for Sale or Wanted forum. Here are a few of them:
