Has anyone experienced this with their yorkie after surgery? I'm calling the vet to see if he can prescribe me something.

STOP the brown rice as brown rice is very hard for them to digest and will lead to colitis and is your culprit - use white rice and brown rice has to be steamed twice as long for dogs than human -I bet he is pooping out the rice whole ?
