How old is your baby? I had a yorkie that outgrew getting car sick. But, it was only when we would go through the mountains on our way home. I would always go to the vet before we would go and get motion sickness pills. He only did this as a puppy.

Sorry I wish I could be of more help. Hopefully it will be something that he will outgrow as well.
