Default They're here for a reason

"Until I reached this thread, I had decided that I wouldn't even bother announcing my joy at a new pup."

I agree with you Nicole, I usually don't tell people online that I have a Yorkipoo (Yorkie x Poodle) because of the puppy mill lectures and "you have an expensive mutt" conversations. I am so very sorry to hear about your Maltichon. I went through something similar earlier this year.

I also have terrible allergies but refused to get rid of my cat. It's not the cat's fault my eyes swell shut and I have trouble breathing; why should HE leave? So for the past 14 years I took allergy medication until my tabby passed away in February. I was determined to have another pet but I knew I couldn't have a cat, so I got a hybrid puppy. What a difference! No more allergy meds, no hair shedding all over the house and my clothes, and I didn't have to spend the Yorkie prices (which can be outrageous).

I don't have a Morkie but my hybrid is the healthiest, cutest, energetic and loving little guy you'd ever want to meet. Every time we go out someone falls in love with him and I have to give the breeder's phone number before I can leave the store.

Good Luck with your search for a Morkie. Forget about those people who put down hybrids. We have them for a reason.
