My Lola had a liver shunt and was operated on in March of this year. She is doing wonderful now. I know how you are feeling right now - it is overwhelming. First thing you need to do is register on -
Liver_Shunt_And_MVD_Support : Liver Shunt & MVD/HMD Support
they can answer all of your questions and give you the best advice anywhere. They helped save my baby's life.

Have you started her on Hills LD or Royal Canine Hepatic 14? They are both prescription foods she will need to be on and also immediately started on Lactulose, a prescription medication to be given with her food 3-4 times a day to help rid her of the toxins buillt up in her body that are causing the symptoms you are talking about. You can get all of this from your vet very first thing in the morning. I'm no expert, but the people I told you about above are.
