i'm so sorry to hear that story. i'm with you i just dont' understand why someone would get a dog without thinking that they may have to spend a lot of money on taking care of it. if that were a child you would do whatever it took to make them feel good and live longer, there's not a euthanizing children at the doctor when they are agressive or unwanted or too much money or too sick. we do it with dogs that are so sick that they are going to suffer and we do a very kind and humane thing by letting them go so they won't hurt anymore, but we don't do this with our kids, so why be so casual and heartless about PTS a dog??
it's heartbreaking to those that truly care, we just had to put down our golden because her organs were failing and winter was coming quick and we didn't want her to suffer and die in the freezing cold weather. she was 14 years old and it was the hardest thing we've ever done, my father had to have his cousin take her in because he couldn't bear the pain and you have this A holes going in for no good reason and doing this to their dogs.
