My GF's little poodle has diabetes. They give her shots twice everyday and make sure she has food.
She's such a little diva doggie, and my friend just rolls her eyes and says, "What did you expect? She's French!"
Other than that she's back to her old self and doing fine, I'm sure your baby will be okay, too.
