He ate it at 5 am and went to sleep. I came home from work and noticed he vomited twice in his crate. He seems totally normal and full of energy. Took him for his evening walk. He pottied and pooped (looked normal). So I decided to give him dinner (more chicken, rice, carrots) and he vomited again.??? My family visited a week ago and my little sisters were giving him a lot of treats. Could this pancreatitis?? Or possibly a toxin from outside??? I will take him to the vet tomorrow morning. But does anyone have any suggestions for the next 14 hours???? He really wants to eat, but I think I am going to take away his food.
How old is he? Remember when you give a new food, it's not unusual for a puppy to vomit. Not all bully sticks are the same, and some are more of a chewing stick and some are more of a food because they can eat so much of it at one time. If he consumed half a stick, it might have been enough to upset his tummy. Had he had chicken rice and carrots before? You say your family gave him lots of treats, human treats or dog treats? He may have pancreatitis, if given human treats. I think I would try giving him more food and I'd be worried about dehydration. Hopefully someone who knows more will answer you, but if he doesn't seem like he's in pain, I would try to give him the chicken and rice again. Make sure it doesn't have fat.
