100% Nutrition, 0% Filler: Your dog deserves the best, so there's no room for fillers like artificial preservatives, flavors or colors in our food. In fact, every carefully chosen ingredient serves a specific purpose in promoting your dog's overall health.
Chicken as the #1 Ingredient: Real chicken as the #1 ingredient provides an excellent source of protein.
FOS (fructooligosaccharides): This Prebiotic works in your puppy's digestive tract to support his strong defenses.
Natural Fish Oil for DHA: Provides DHA, a brain-building nutrient that helps develop smart, trainable puppies. Fish oil also provides omega-3 fatty acids for healthy skin and coat.
Wholesome Grains: Made with highly digestible corn, grain sorghum and rice to help maintain healthy blood sugar and energy levels.
Antioxidants: Made with antioxidants such as vitamin E, to support your dog's immune system.
DigestiCare Plus: Made with beet pulp fiber and FOS that work with your puppy's natural defenses to help maintain a healthy digestive tract.
I see no chicken by product or fat other than omega 3. I am open to a better product out there if the above is misleading. It sounds healthy to me or I wouldn't feed it to my dog. I would like to know if I and my vet are incorrect and why. I only want what's best for Sophie

Here's my beef about anything made as "dog food" personal opinions here: anything put into dog food that has to be crushed up and baked and you are never really sure what you are getting i personally don't trust. ALL vets recommend science diet, or eukanuba, or royal canin. what they don't tell you is the history of the dog food industry that goes back to slaughtering horses for dog food or using anything that was not FDA approved for people in the dog foods. those "grains" you are reading about have been known to be rotten or contaminated in the past and there was a huge dog food scare because of it, i'm not sure if it was for sure Eukanuba, but something from walmart that dad bought about killed our dog and still made her sick so that she died a few years later.

i don't trust any of them and a lot of YTers agree and some don't there are many more benefits to a raw diet, whether you buy raw diets or make them, it's healthier, you KNOW what's in there because you put it there, and you don't put CORN into it which causes allergies and other issues pretty often. there are tons of thread on here about Raw diets and recipes and several of them i'm talking about the history of dog food as a way to get rid of the rotten grains and chop house leftovers that humans won't eat. my aunt and I have a philosophy..."only human grade products for our precious pups"

i'm not trying to convince you to do it my way, i'm just telling you what i've learned and seen throughout the years. if you like kibble, try wellness, or timberwolf organic, or another organic or natural food, but be careful because even those aren't the best things all the time for our pets. dry dog food has a lot of perservatives besides bad meals, meats, and grains. and i would rather feed freshly thawed out food than preserved foods.

anyways you'll have to decide what you feel is best and take my opinions for just that. it's totally up to each person how they feel about dog foods, but here's how i feel personally about it.

hope that helps you are going to do just fine with the puppy, keep some nutrical or karo syrup on hand for hypoglycemia and just be a mommy and take care of her, i got Sadie at 7 weeks and was told that's too young and health wise she did fine on her new raw diet and i had her off the diamond puppy food crap the breeder gave me after a week.

she's healthy as can be, she just bites a lot due to her leaving the litter too soon.

good luck hon, friend me if you'd like or PM me anytime if you need anything or want my raw recipe
